The College was established in 1967 with its head quarter at the Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, University of Delhi, Delhi - 110007 (India). The college adopted its constitution and established its office at V.P.Chest Institute Delhi (SL No. 3740, dated May 25, 1968). Some of the founder members who were instrumental at that time to establish the College were Prof. D.N. Shivpuri (Allergologist), Prof. R.K. Sanyal (Pharmacologist), Prof. R. Vishwanathan (Pulmonologist) and Prof. A.S. Paintal (Physiologist). The latter two were Directors of V.P. Chest Institute.

This year College is going to organize 52nd Conference of Indian College of Allergy, Asthma & Applied Immunology 2018 (ICAAICON 2018) at BANGALORE during 14th to 17th February 2019.
